The Boardwalk Restaurant

The Boardwalk Restaurant at Island Inn Hotel is renowned locally for its sumptuous fare. Offering an eclectic blend of local and international cuisine, our experienced chefs are sure to tantalize your taste buds.

 

Breakfast:

For the corporate guests or the early risers, a continental spread is available from  7:00 a.m. Continental breakfast includes a selection of fruit juices, seasonal fresh fruit, dry cereals, assorted pastries, tea and coffee. Daily buffet breakfast is available from 7:30 a.m. and offers a variety of hot dishes including bacon, eggs and sausages. Breakfast is served until    10:00 a.m. Dress code is casual.

 

Lunch:

There are five table d’hôte lunch days and two buffet lunch days (Tuesdays and Sundays). The Boardwalk Restaurant offers the opportunity to enjoy the best of local and Caribbean cuisine. Lunch is served from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Dress code is casual. Cover- ups required.

Should guests wish to take a trip during the day or just lay by the beach, a picnic basket can be prepared in lieu of having lunch at the hotel. 24 hours advance notice is required.

 

Afternoon Tea:

Traditional English afternoon tea is served from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A variety of sandwiches, pastries and assorted teas are available.

 

Dinner:

An array of Caribbean and international fusions are offered nightly. Wednesday and Friday nights are buffet nights, while all other nights are table d’hôte. Dinner is served from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. No shorts or slippers allowed. Men must wear shirts with sleeves. Live entertainment is provided on some evenings.

 

Bar:

The bar is open from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm daily.

 

Dress code:

Daytime – resort casual – cover-ups are required for breakfast and lunch. Footwear is required in the restaurant at all times.

 

Evening – elegantly casual – full length trousers and shirts with sleeves (either short sleeves or long sleeves) are required for gentlemen for dinner.

 

After 6:00pm, no jeans (this applies to both ladies and gents and includes all denim wear), no three-quarter trousers, no shorts or cargos, no trainers, no flip-flops, no caps or t-shirts are allowed in the restaurant.
